the Erebus convex mirror

In Mirrors by Mark Evans

The Erebus convex mirror is part of my Noir series of mirrors using black as the dominant color. Coupled with clear Venetian glass and rock quartz crystal the effect is dramatic and striking.

The Erebus convex mirror is about 22 inches in diameter. It is being sent to the Hewn showroom in San Francisco

Erebus is the name of the Greek primordial god of shadows and darkness. Born of Chaos he is one of the five deities of existence. He and his consort Nyx, the personification of Night had many children including Aether( personification of celestial air) and Hemera( personification of daylight).

Erebus is also associated with the god of the underworld, Hades. However, Erebus represents the mystery of darkness and not necessarily a god tending to the damned in Hell.
