the Royale convex mirror

The Royale convex mirror features amazing ombré Citrine points. They surround a gold metal leafed frame that is embellished with layers of transparent light bronze Venetian glass.

The Royale convex mirror is about 13 inches in diameter. It is hanging in my studio pending being shipped to one of my showroom/venues.

Portrait of the Duchess of Angoulême/ Madame Royale by Antoine-Jean Gros, 1816

Marie-Thérèse (Marie-Thérèse Charlotte; 19 December 1778 – 19 October 1851) was the eldest child of King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette of France, and their only child to reach adulthood. Upon her birth she was styled Madame Royale.

She barely survived the French Revolution, unlike her parents and sibling. Once the Terror was over she was taken to the Hapsburg court in Vienna where her mother grew up. She was treated as a diplomatic pawn but had the tenacity and courage to transcend the tragedy of your youth. She lived long enough to see the restoration of the Bourbon Dynasty, Napoleon( who called her “the only man in her family”), exile and a listless marriage.
