the Cuprum convex mirror

The Cuprum convex mirror is centered on the nimbus of golden Aventurine points. The frame is gilded with copper metal leaf and then covered with layers of Venetian glass rods. A ring of glass spheres surround the mirror. This mirror is about 21 inches in diameter.

The Cuprum convex mirror is being shipped to my NYC venue, KRB. Call 212-288-2221 for more information.

Cuprum is the Latin word for the element, copper. It is one of the few metals that occur naturally in direct usable, unalloyed metallic form. This lead to very early human use in many regions, from 8,000 BC.

For Americans the copper penny has been with us since the early days of our republic, However the penny has been devalued due to the lessening amount of copper in the coin. But it is part of American culture and folklore. After all Benjamin Franklin said “a penny earned is a penny saved.”
