The Arden convex mirror is built on a gold metal leafed frame studded with large golden tiger eye spheres and finished with clear, light brown Venetian glass rods. The perimeter of the frame is starred with tiger eye points.
Tiger eye is a chatoyant crystal which gains its silky, lustrous appearance from the parallel intergrowth of quartz crystals. They have a hologram-ish effect.

The Arden convex mirror is named for the Arden forest featured in William Shakespeare’s comedy As You Like It( 1599). The Arden Forest represents a place of transformative mystery to the characters. Cross dressing and romance ensue.
