the Ice Capades convex mirror

In Mirrors by Mark Evans

The Ice Capades convex mirror is all about silver and crystal. The surface of the frame is embellished with Venetian glass rods and three sizes of clear glass/quartz spheres. Rock crystal quartz points create a halo around the silver leafed frame.

The Ice Capades convex mirror is about 15 inches in diameter. It is in my NYC venue, KRB. Call 212-288-2221 for more information.

Jewelry for Walls!

The Ice Capades convex mirror is a tribute to the legendary, traveling ice skating spectacular that started in 1940. The show prospered for over fifty years and showcased Olympic and other skating champions once they retired from competition.

The Ice Capades was a combination of virtuoso skating, the Ziegfeld Follies, the Rockettes and high camp. I loved going as a kid.
