the Celestite convex mirror

In Mirrors by Mark Evans

The Celestite convex mirror features obelisks made of the mineral/crystal Celestite. The rich sky blue of Celestite dictated the design of the rest of the frame. The flat surface of the silver gilded frame is made of a concentric band of different shades of Venetian blue glass creating a sun ray effect. The mirror is a true half dome.

The Celestite convex mirror is about 18 inches in diameter. Its is being shipped to my West Hollywood showroom, Jasper. Call 310-315-3028 for more information.

Jewelry for Walls!

Celestite is a mineral made of strontium sulfate that is light blue in color, has jagged edges, and an icy appearance. The name comes from the Latin word caelestis, which means “celestial” or “heavenly”. Celestite represents our connection with the divine and our ability to access higher consciousness and spiritual wisdom.

Of course, Celestite can be carved into trinkets such as the one below. But I prefer it in its natural form or carved into simple shapes such as spheres or obelisks.
