The Tebaldi convex mirror is a gilded star shaped frame encrusted with layers of Venetian glass rods in various diameters from a quarter inch to as small as a sixteenth. This allows for the gilding to be refracted in many ways giving depth to the design.
The Tebaldi convex mirror is about 24 inches in diameter. It is being shipped to my NYC venue, KRB. Call 212-288-2221 for more information.

The Tebaldi convex mirror is named for the splendid Italian soprano, Renata Tebaldi ( 1922-2004). Her voice was so sumptuous that even the great Arturo Toscanini called it “the voice of an angel”.
As much as people admired her voice, Tebaldi had a diva side as well. She could be demanding and temperamental, but she knew her worth. Her long association with the Met in New York was fraught with clashes with the general manager, Rudolf Bing. Curing contract negotiations he quipped that she has ” dimples of iron.”
