the Skadi convex mirror

In Mirrors by Mark Evans

The Skadi convex mirror is like a giant snowflake made of silver and crystal. The silver gilded frame “backlights” the crystal spheres and bits of Venetian glass rods. A burst of rays consisting of rock quartz faceted diamonds and spheres create a halo. The large faceted round spheres send out a myriad of shards of light when the sun hits them.

The Skadi convex mirror is about 7.75 inches in diameter. It is in my studio pending being shipped to one of my showrooms.

Jewelry for walls!

Skadi is the name of the Norse goddess of snow and winter. She is a huntress and is associated with skiing(!). She has quite a vivid mythology so go to https://vovatia.wordpress.com/2011/07/17/the-lady-of-winter/ for more!
