The Parlando convex mirror features a series of dramatically striated fluorite points. The colors range from an amethyst purple to a golden cognac to crystal to traces of green. They are mounted onto a gold leafed frame with a ring of Venetian glass rods in various shades of purples and an inner ring of amethyst spheres. The mirror is around 22 inches in diameter.
The Parlando convex mirror is being shipped to my NYC venue, KRB. Please call 212-288-2221 for more information.

Parlando is a technique of musicians that combines qualities of spoken dialogue with music. It is used for dramatic effect.

The image on the header for this mirror shows the great Paganini( 1782-1864). “Parlando Paganini” likely refers to the renowned violinist Niccolo Paganini, whose virtuosic and dramatic style earned him the nickname “The Devil’s Violinist”. While there is no specific well-known piece titled “Parlando Paganini,” the term suggests a focus on Paganini’s expressive and speech-like playing techniques, which was characteristic of his performances and compositions, such as his famous Violin Concerto No. 1, which features complex techniques like scordatura to achieve a more dramatic and “speaking” quality.
But the glory of this mirror is the use of fluorite. Here are a couple of pictures showing fluorite in its carved and natural state.
