the Ombré convex mirror

In Mirrors by Mark Evans

The Ombré convex mirror is composed of a gold, gilt frame that has three distinct layers. I applied layers of thin Venetian glass rods to create an ombré effect. Ombré is a term that can be described as one color fading or transitioning into another.

The Ombré convex mirror measures about 13 inches in diameter. It is being delivered to Cayen Home and Gifts in Carmel-by-the-Sea( 831-626-2722).

Jewelry for Walls!

My ombre version of the Mona Lisa.
My ombré version of John Singer Sargent’s “Portrait of Madame X”
Ombré effects seem to be in the Zeitgeist right now. Even in hairstyles as seen above( no idea where this photo came from)
Years ago I had a design for ombré wallcovering that I did for our line with Koroseal. Never made it to market. They couldn’t figure out how to sample it. I guess we were ahead of our time!
