The Odilon convex mirror is composed of a gold gilded frame layered with thin Venetian Glass rods in colors from clear togold to pale amber. The inner ring surrounding the mirror are citrine beads while the tips of the rays are golden Botswana agate spheres.

The name Odilon has its origins in France/Germany. The name was popular with males in the 19th century as it evokes wealth! Among other meaning would be prosperous in battle( very male). Perhaps the most famous bearer of the name was the great French symbolist artist, Odilon Redon( 1840-1916).
