Jewelry for Walls!
The Jaipur convex mirror is named for the city, Jaipur, capital of the northwest state of Rajasthan in India. Many of its buildings were built during the Moghul rule in the 18th century. Hence, all are reminiscent of the Taj Mahal. Jaipur is famous for being the “Pink City”. Oddly, the pink color was introduced on many of the old city buildings in honor of the visit in 1876 of the Prince of Wales.
As Diana Vreeland famously said, “Pink is the navy blue of India!”
Jaipur is renown for its fine jewelry business. The quality and design is incredible! My mirror would fit right in!
