The Eros convex mirror is a smaller version of my Aphrodite mirror. It started as a refurbished frame that was gilded with metal leaf. Layers of clear gold, clear and straw colored Venetian glass rods were added. The final layer are various sizes of clear cabochons. Some glass and some resin.
The Eros convex mirror measures about 15 inches in diameter. It resides in my studio prior to being shipped to one of my showrooms.
Jewelry for walls!

The Eros mirror is named after the Greek god who was the son of Aphrodite( goddess of love and procreation) and the god Ares( god of war). Eros is the god of carnal passion. Need I say more?
The cabochons in the mirror allude to Aphrodite’s birth. She was born of “sea foam” which was generated by the severed genitals of the primordial god Uranus. Now you know.
