At a mere 6 inches in diameter the Adina convex mirror packs a lot into a small dimension. The frame is gold leafed then layered with pale yellow transparent Venetian glass rods. The upper part of the frame is embellished with small rock crystal quartz points, more Venetian glass and cabochons.
The Adina mirror hangs in my studio pending being shipped to my Atlanta showroom, Ainsworth-Noah. Call 404-231-8787 for more information.

Written in just six weeks, Gaetano Donizetti’s opera L’Elisir d’Amore premiered in Italy in 1832. It is a charming opera where a beautiful farm owner, Adina, is loved by a young villager, Nemorino. Highjinks ensue involving a quack purveyor of potions, a pompous soldier, a bottle of Bordeaux and an unexpected inheritance.
This opera continues to be performed internationally. The music fizzes with melody that veers from buffo to the melting aria “una furtiva lagrima”.
