the La Gioconda Box

In Boxes by Mark Evans

The La Gioconda lenticular box Is composed of a wooden, lacquered box embellished with a collage of a 3D version of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.  This iconic painting was done in 1503-04 and is probably the most famous painting in the world.  Its current insurance valuation is $800 million.

Perhaps by manipulating the Mona Lisa we can look at it with a fresh perspective.

The box measures 5.75″ high X 9.5″ long X 6.5″ high.  It is currently in my studio waiting to be shipped to one of my showrooms.  If you are interested contact me directly.

Jewelry for tables.

Over six million go to the Louvre in Paris every year to see the Mona Lisa.
