the Trianon Convex Mirror

In All, Mirrors by Mark Evans

The Trianon convex mirror is a classic design of mine.  All silver and clear Venetian glass and quartz beads, cabochons and points.

This round mirror is about 10 inches in diameter.  It resides in my studio till being shipped to one of my showrooms.

Jewelry for walls.

A Portrait of Queen Marie Antoinette and her Children in the Gar4dens of the Trianon by Adolf Ulrick Wertmüler, 1785

The Petit Trianon, a masterpiece of French neo-classical architecture and design by Ange-Jacques Gabriel in 1768.

I love this room. It is Marie Antoinette’s boudoir in the Petit Trianon. In order to shield she and her friends from prying eyes Antoinette had mechanized mirrored panels that could slide over the windows.
